Exhibition opens on 31 May and runs to 27 July. The GRDM’s contribution to this year’s Broadway Festival is an exhibition featuring life at Broadway’s ‘Downton’ in the decade before the outbreak of the First World War. Russell’s father turned the Lygon Arms into a world famous Country House Hotel patronised by HRH Princess Henry of Battenberg and T.R.H. The Prince of Wales and Prince Henry, HRH Princess Marie Louise and HM The Queen of Romania, Henry Ford, the French aviator Aumont Thieville, author A.C. Benson and many others. The exhibition will open on 31 May and run until 27 July.
